Webernj - Navigating the courses of life. Monday, September 29, 2008. Visit from The Swanholms. Some of our friends from New Jersey came down to visit on Saturday. Despite the rainy weather we all had a great time. The kids played in the basement as only three toddlers and a 5 year old can do! We took a trip to the Promenade downtown during a break in the rain to visit the lighthouse and let the kids run. And then we topped it all off with a visit to Bomboy's for ice cream! The same four this weekend!

It's exciting times in our house and I have a feeling we will have much to share as Katherine starts Kindergarten in August. She is beyond excited! We're all in for a lot of adjustment as Kindergarten is a full day nowadays, but we're confident that this will be a good year. I have found myself quoting these tidbits lately:. Treat other people like you want to be treated.". Put things back where you found them.

Webernj - Navigating the courses of life. Friday, May 01, 2009. I know, I've been negligent as a Mommy and haven't posted in a while. Easter was a blast! Katherine enjoyed dressing up, including her bonnet, gloves, and purse. She also got the hang of hunting for Easter eggs. It helped that the youth group at church stuffed the eggs full of great candy! We topped off the day with a luncheon cruise on the Lantern Queen! Posted by The Webers. It's the freakin' weekend. Webernj - Navigating the courses of life. Monday, November 03, 2008. We visited Bill and Erica in Frenchtown, NJ this weekend. They met us on our drive up at the Howell Living History Farm. We saw horses, sheep, hens, a rooster, ducks, geese, a cat, and a dog. We also saw them making scrapple and preparing to make sausage. Katherine was taken with the hens. Webernj - Navigating the courses of life. Sunday, October 05, 2008. Visit to Lohr's Orchard. I grew up a few hundred feet from Lohr's Orchard in Joppatowne. Sadly, it isn't there anymore. But Scott and I would pull our red wagon (metal not plastic) up the hill to buy apples, cider, peaches, plums, or whatever was on Mom's shopping list. Webernj - Navigating the courses of life. Friday, March 21, 2008. We went on a St. Patrick's Day cruise on the Lantern Queen. The food and music were wonderful! We had a great time. Katherine was being very serious most of the night. She wasn't sure what to make of all of commotion. However, I think she really like all of the different instruments and the music. Webernj - Navigating the courses of life. Friday, May 01, 2009. Play Time with Brayden. Brayden, Aunt Dawnie and Uncle Billy came by for a visit a few weeks ago. Bray and Katherine played on the swingset at the house for a while. The weather was gorgeous so we went downtown and walked on the Promenade. We saw boats, ducks, squirrels, and a groundhog. Webernj - Navigating the courses of life. Tuesday, May 13, 2008. Is it May Already? May has caught us by surprise. I spent last week at the International Oil Spill Conference in Savannah, GA while Rob played Mr. Mom. The conference was really nice and I got to see a lot of old friends. It was nice, though, to come home to my handsome hubby and wild child! Katherine helped us put together our new desk and filing cabinets on Saturday and Sunday. What a chore! Posted by The Webers.
