Life with two bosses.and no raise in sight. Friday, May 18, 2012. Well, crap. I thought that I updated this regarding Kelly's surgery, but I must have been too exhausted/traumatized by the event. She is FINE, and had no complications from the tonsillectomy. However, the next week was so much worse than I anticipated, and I anticipated a really bad week. Especially a 3 year old in serious pain? But it took that full week and then she started to be my Kelly again. Back to picky eating and being silly.

So, I last wrote about my period being MIA. After several weeks with no period and two negative pregnancy tests, I finally went to the dr. She agreed that it could be my hormones and ordered some bloodwork. She also wanted me to have an ultrasound to check out my uterus and ovaries and make sure that things looked okay. While our friend Geoff was visiting us, we fired up the clay oven and baked ridiculous amounts of bread (it always helps to do this when there are extra people around - two people can only eat so much bread before it goes bad.). There was also a very beautiful pizza, though it took some careful finagling to get it to go into the oven without falling apart. Most of my friends and family swear by this banana bread and they beg me to make it all the time.
