Wednesday, 11 February 2015. Lately I have been doing a lot of craft shoots. I love making all the different items - although not so sure Garth is too happy when he comes home to find me mixing concrete in the living room, or spraying furniture in the hallway. oh well! Monday, 10 February 2014. A room for a little one. A friend of mine has asked for some help in decorating their kids bedroom. I think the key to a well decorated childs bedroom is making sure it is bright and cheery with an element of surprise. This half moon wallpaper. Would work well as a backdrop to then layer on some colourful accessories. Painted furniture and colourful pictures would sit nicely in front of this monochrome paper. I'm usually the kind of person that saves up all type of jars and vintage collectibles, like the DIY jar glass frames idea, this is another way to show off your beautiful metal boxes. I always end up cluttering junk in them, so why don't use them, and turn them in a beautiful lighting fixture. Just buy a low-wattage lamp kit, drill a hole the appropriate size in the bottom of the tin, wire it, attach pendants and voila! Keys to your heart.
