Monday, January 21, 2013. 2013 Obama Inauguration: Four More Years. Got up this morning at 4:30AM, getting about 5 hours of sleep, to watch the 2013 Inauguration Parade! It's a once in a lifetime experience, so might as well take advantage of living in DC during an election! The sun went away and it was FREEZING! They started the Ceremony on time and then they went to eat lunch. The Parade was supposed to start at 2:30PM but it didn't start until 3:30PM! And then half a block down he decides to get out!

Friday, April 5, 2013. 030913 Santa Monica Golden Hour. These are from my previous trip to SoCal and I really wanted to go to the beach! We decided on Santa Monica because Third Street was close by (even though we didn't really walk around there). We made it there in time to catch the sunset. Tuesday, May 20, 2014. Where young people go to retire. Had a week off between the end of spring semester and the start of summer clinical rotations so Jon and I decided to go to Portland! We road tripped up there (10hrs! And brought our bikes. Jon has been revamping my bike for the past year to make it less fixie and more classic. We had a list of food (and bike) places to check out. Most of my food pics are on my Instagram. Day 1 / Velo Cult, PokPok, Whiskey Soda Lounge. Day 3 / BIKE DAY!

Monday, March 25, 2013. Some captures from the iPhone via IG. Went to see BAY LIGHTS with my man the Friday before I had to head back to DC. I don't like leaving but one day I'll come back to CA permanently with a few letters behind my name. It's a beautiful hike and not too hard. It's just a bit scary if you want to go to the beach because you have to carefully maneuver yourself down the cliffside and then come back up. Those pics will be up soon once exams subside.
