So, in the words of a dear pastor friend of mine, ONWARD!

When God's Love is Our Love. Thank You, Elevator Mom! July 9, 2014. I’m standing in an elevator at Phoenix Seminary. It lurches to a stop one floor before I need to get out. A preteen, in a murk of irritation and groaning, finds her way inside. Her mother steps in after her and says, “We are going and that’s the end of it.” The doors close, echoing the finality of her response. 8220;We don’t go to church to have our needs met; we go to have our needs changed.”. Keep up with me during my year of service in Rome, Italy! Monday, October 28, 2013. First, my apologies for not writing for several weeks. It's been absolutely crazy here at the church and I've literally not had a spare moment. So much has been going on in the past couple of weeks that I don't even know where to start with this post, but I'll do my best. Caribleaper – theology in limbo spaces. Theology in limbo spaces. Large garden, sower and seeds. April 19, 2015. February 18, 2016. I concede my ignorance. Had I not seen a large poster on my recent visit to Rome, it would have passed me by that 2015 is the year of soils (UN)! It is not insignificant that humans are represented as created from ‘soil’ (earth). Our. Existence cannot be apart from the earth. It would be reasonable to deduce that both in Guyana and the UK we take soil for granted and treat i...
