Sarcastic Resonance | Science, criticism, words
Science, criticism, words. Book review: Imperial Earth. August 8, 2015. By our beloved free encyclopedia, Hard science fiction. Is a category of science fiction characterized by an emphasis on scientific accuracy or technical detail, or on both. When I (discreetly) mentioned to my friend that I might be interested in that sort of thing, he suggested reading Arthur C. Clarke’s Rendezvous with Rama . I did, and found it glorious. I present to you, Imperial Earth. There is an entire chapter on pentominoes.

I'm on Mars and Twitter… whoop-dee-fricken-doo. Alrighty – first off, long time no talk! That’s right – during a federal government shut-down, some employees are not even allowed to give talks, lectures, or tend to their experiments. Government labs are shut down – biological research is halted, (and in some cases ruined! And other education, outreach, and information services are suspended. In short, it’s a terrible week for science! Top Novelty Twitter Accounts of 2012! I know this is waaaaay late into...

sarcastic salutations - Sometimes things are better left unsaid
Sometimes things are better left unsaid. Any situation that is seen from two sets of eyes can have a distorted view. Life is a journey, there are no mistakes. The things that happen that we see as bad, are only opportunities for growth. Enjoy your journey by finding a window when a door closes, and by leaping over hills that are seemingly too high- looking forward to what's next. This Journey Called Life. Precious jewels called knowledge. Clarity starts from within. June 10, 2015. Moor History for Dummies.

Saturday, October 1, 2011. Somehow I got sucked into babysitting/housesitting for the past 24 hours. It didn't sound like such a bad deal when the mom said that I could stay out as late as I wanted and "even bring my boyfriend." Yeah, right. Did I mention it beeped once a minute? I held my breath to snatch the jelly out of the fridge, made my sandwich and was about finished when I noticed mid-chew that I had been eating half-moldy bread. Gulp. In the trash, off to play soccer mom. We didn't win the game ...
