And baby makes three. Life with a newborn. August 2nd, 2010. And in other news, Hurricane Megan once again left a clean house in her wake. Aug 2nd, 2010 at 4:31 PM. This past weekend I became a homebody. A hermit. A recluse. This past weekend I wanted nothing more than to stay at home and clean my house. You heard me. I wanted to clean my house. Perhaps I'm being melodramatic. All I know is that once the storm has passed, the house, it is clean. The question is, was it worth it? I absolutely say "yes!

And baby makes three. Life with a newborn. Caleb's Birthday Story: Part 2. Aug 10th, 2010 at 11:09 AM. By the time my labor officially started it was 8 am on Wednesday, two days before my March 19th due date. We had called my mom to find out her status and found that she was in the air, on her way up to join us in Alaska. That was the good news; the bad news was that her flight wouldn’t arrive until 9:30 that night. Okay, Doc, what’s the verdict? Oh, boy was I mistaken! As Momma reached each new layover ...

And baby makes three. Life with a newborn. August 9th, 2010. Oh, Flour Tortillas, how I miss you! Aug 9th, 2010 at 2:29 PM. But in the meantime. Here's something amazing- I haven't bought groceries in three weeks. Wait, I take that back. I did buy a single loaf of bring early last week. But other than that? But that's actually been easy compared to having to cope with what's really being missed: flour tortillas and tortilla chips! Thus, at this moment our life cannot be perfect. We had some leftover corn...

Day Today was the day that Caleb would roll over for the very first time. Don't ask me how. I knew, caulk it up to mother's intuition. Somehow I just knew that our little boy would make that final push that would roll him completely over. I whipped out my phone (thank goodness for smartphones! Like what you see?

And baby makes three. Life with a newborn. August 3rd, 2010. The boy. he is growing. Aug 3rd, 2010 at 10:21 AM. Last night Caleb rolled over. At least, I think he did. That being said, Caleb has had difficulty when he attempts to roll over while on the bed because as he is sunk into the mattress a bit, he actually has to roll uphill in order to turn over, which is not easy for a baby to do from what I've seen. Did my baby really just roll over? Or rather, flop over? Um that, I don't know.". Micah and I h...

And baby makes three. Life with a newborn. The sustaining hand of God. Aug 24th, 2010 at 10:54 AM. But then we got married and became newlyweds, and what word is synonymous with "newlywed"?
