Thursday, December 22, 2011. Food for the birds! Yesterday, Lucas and I went to a friends house and strung cranberries and popcorn together and rolled a toliet roll in bird seed to put on a tree for the birds. So, Merry Christmas birds! Lucas liked doing this, though he liked eating everything better, including the bird seed! Posted by Swenson Family. Thanks to my little candy thermometer and the kitchen aid (oh, how I love you! Swenson Family Blog: June 2012
http://cakswenson.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Sunday, June 17, 2012. Over the past several months we have been 'fish-sitting' more often than not as we've had various friends traveling for extended periods of time. This has worked out really well for us because Lucas likes having a fish around, but we don't actually have to buy a fish. However, we always have a shadow looming over us, haunting us with the question of "what if we kill the fish? Posted by Swenson Family. Thursday, June 14, 2012. As I've mentioned several times before, you town has a b...

Sunday, September 23, 2012. Grandma (Craig's mom) came and stayed for ten days, though things were still a little crazy it was a lot of help! We are so thankful she was willing to come, stay, and put up with us. Lucas loved it! He wanted Grandma to do everything! He wouldn't let me get him off of the bus, he wanted grandma to do it. Grandma had to help him pray, read him a story, put him to bed. It was all about Grandma! I know Lucas had fun with Grandma! Also, thanks for the awesome shirts! First day of...

Swenson Family Blog: April 2012
http://cakswenson.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 19, 2012. In the middle of April and it's snowing! I looked at Craig and said, "This is still Pennsylvania, right? Are you sure were not in Utah? His response, "at least it's not July." It was very distressing, especially after the previous week, which was a heat wave and absolutely wonderful! I went from wearing shorts one day to pants and a sweater. We had soup two nights this week and I only have soup when it is really really cold outside! Posted by Swenson Family. He is still talking ...

Kotter Family: Valentine's Day
http://kotterfamily.blogspot.com/2009/03/valentines-day.html
Monday, March 2, 2009. We had a great Valentine's Day. We started out the weekend decorating sugar cookies. The kids always enjoy it, even though they do not like them. Both Anika and Aiden had parties at school. And Aiden really enjoyed giving his Transformer Valentines. How did you talk him into a maid! It's been fun to keep up with your family! March 2, 2009 at 9:43 PM. A maid that is so AWESOME! I love the pink mashed potatoes. What a fun tradition! March 3, 2009 at 9:11 AM. What a fun day!

Thursday, June 19, 2008. This post is really late, but we have been out of town. I am still trying to catch up. So here are some things about Anika. Born: May 25, 2001 in Montana. She was the first grandchild on both sides. And remained so for almost three years. You could say she was very spoiled. She is very social and always wants to be playing with her friends. She does well in school but tends to forget to do her work when she starts talking. Mesa Verde in May. Tuesday, June 17, 2008. We love to hit...
