The simple bare necessities. Tuesday, February 28, 2006. I have been reading lately came across this set of books by Ngaio Marsh, classic theatrical whodunits ,stories about grim damsels and aging actresses, murder and grace. I liked these stories complicated enough to arrest my attention and easy enough to empathise with. I like books like these. off late I was quite disenchanted with books . Sometimes I just like a steaming cup of tea and a book that weaves a simple graceful story. View my complete prof...

The simple bare necessities. Sunday, August 20, 2006. The petals wilt,. The plaster peels,. The weeds grow,. I am destined to always fail,. Remorse and regret are my fallen friends. Who remain with me in my barren den,. The air is stale ,the future blank,. I stare at the remains of the parched river bank,. The weeds they grow and engulf me all around,. My soul is a wasteland left barren and torn,. I am devoid of intellect and profound thought. I am in abeyance and await for a sign. Sunday, August 13, 2006.

http://consumerdemon.blogspot.com/2008/03/i-am-2-days-old-in-my-new-job.html

Tuesday, March 25, 2008. I am 2 days old in my new job. And aching all over. I don't know if that is because of standing and walking all day or because of my cold and fever. Anyway. It has been an interesting 2 days. And so completely different from what I am used to. When I come home and have to bathe and I ache all over, I feel like I have done something. Which is weird. I haven't really done much. I'm toting a notepad and following people, asking questions and eavesdropping on conversations. I am 2 da...

Thursday, January 29, 2009. Saw Frost/Nixon last week. Tried to see blah blah Benjamin Button. Also saw The Changeling. F/N was good. The guy who played Nixon was fantastic. Oliver Platt and Sam Rockwell were also great. The interplay between actual Watergate era recordings and the movie was also really good. Benjamin Button was awful. Terrible. Boring. It should come with a self-strangulation warning. Caution: The contents of this DVD may cause you to choke yourself to death. Bleh. Change is in the Air.

Let's Talk Street Style: PFW Spring 2014. The final installment of Spring 2014 street style is here, and Paris seems to have outdone every other city with it's brooding black and whites, perfect pops of color, and understated but stunning neutrals. Which looks have been your favorite from all of fashion month? Gotta own these pants both of these pants. Last, but obviously not least, Pharrell Williams. He'd be the love of my life if he didn't already have one of his own, and she's wayyy too cool for me.

I used to think I wanted everything. If I didn't enjoy studying, I would need to work, but where would I work without a good degree behind me? It was an endless cycle that left me feeling hollow. I didn't leave my bed for days on end, I didn't respond to texts and I felt lifeless. It's a weird thing, because writing this has been difficult, but not as hard as I imagined. I hate talking about myself, because in my head, who's interested, really? Monday, June 22, 2015.
