Wanda Solanes grew up in Canada listening to Patsy Cline, Jim Reeve, Johnny Cash, Ella Fizgerald, and Mario Lanza just to name a few, where week-ends were full of family, laughter and singing, everything from Peter Paul and Mary to Irish Folk Ballads. A few years later, she was very fortunate to meet Lori and Randy Pegram, both accomplished musicians, and shortly afterward the band Sassafras was born.
