The Abrams Report: Baseball
http://abramsataglance.blogspot.com/2011/05/baseball.html
Sunday, May 22, 2011. 160; Carter has improved SO MUCH this season. In Fall ball, he rarely, if ever, hit the ball when it was pitched. Now, he rarely, if ever, misses hitting the ball. We still have lots to work on, but I’m so proud with all he’s accomplished and am glad he loves playing. 160; More games scheduled for this week, so maybe the Cubs will be champions! The third game of the season was a great win, and Coach Jim gave out the first game ball of the season… . Guess who won the ball?

The Abrams Report: December 2010
http://abramsataglance.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 7, 2010. I just happened to be on the phone with Holly when I saw it, and she was going through panic mode with me, but she managed to look it up online when I described it. It was a ring-necked snake, and apparently they are very common in basements in the fall. Alan wasn't home, and I couldn't find any neighbors or anyone else who were home to help me so I kept panicking. I finally got up the nerve to put a glass over it (Holly still on the phone) and it made noises at me!

The Abrams Report: March 2010
http://abramsataglance.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Monday, March 29, 2010. Friday, Holly and I decided to take all 4 children (Evan was in school) to run some errands. Are we crazy, or is there another word for it? We went to Target and the kids had slushies and popcorn, then we picked up lunch at Chic Fil A and went to a couple of other places before heading home. Afterward, there was a dessert and coffee reception. Everything was so yummy! Amy and Holly came with me - actually, we went with Amy because she drove. :). Thursday, March 25, 2010. Charlie i...

The Abrams Report: November 2010
http://abramsataglance.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Friday, November 5, 2010. A long time ago. In a galaxy far, far away, we went to the fair. Yes, this was all the way back in early September and I am just now posting about it. I am so behind! This was our first family trip to the fair, and the boys had so much fun! The bad thing is that we weren't able to stay very long, so next year we will allow more time. I would also like to go at night and see all the lights of the fair and eat fair food :). He did NOT want to leave! Violation starts with V! Welcom...

The Abrams Report: June 2010
http://abramsataglance.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 28, 2010. It is still so hard to believe that Charlie is TWO! He turned two on June 3rd and we celebrated the entire week! I'm not sure why, but 2 seems like such a milestone to me (I guess they all are milestones, when you're that young), and I wanted to do a lot of really special things. For his birthday gift to Charlie, Carter picked out a Sesame Street book with a little play CD player in it. He loves it (notice the tongue sticking out, just like half the other pictures). We took Charlie...

The Abrams Report: July 2010
http://abramsataglance.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Friday, July 30, 2010. I HAVE to put this funny Carter story on "paper" before I forget. I know, I know - pictures will be on here soon! Tonight, Alan was tucking Carter into bed. The conversation went something like this:. C: Ok, I'm all ready to be tucked in. A: Carter, did you forget to do something? C: Umm, no. A: Are you sure? C: Let me check my pretend check-list (holds pillow up like a pretend sheet of paper). Brush teeth - check! Put on pull-up - check! Yep, I'm all ready for bed. Carter is tryin...

The Abrams Report: March 2011
http://abramsataglance.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, March 19, 2011. Charlie is finally learning to count, but it’s so funny. I heard him on the monitor in his crib this morning, saying, “3, 4, 8, 9, 10,” which in his language is, “Free, Pour, aaate, nahn, tin.” He’s pretty Southern, already! Monday, March 14, 2011. 160; He woke up when we put him in bed, and could barely contain his excitement. I just love these pictures of them asleep (this is a queen sized bed, but they slept right next to each other)…. Alan competed in a 6-hour adventure r...

The Abrams Report: May 2010
http://abramsataglance.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Saturday, May 29, 2010. Carter has said a couple of really funny things lately. At Nana's house, Eli asked him about his Apple Jacks. Notice how Carter's comment is slightly unrelated (and strange - where did he har this? Eli: I love Apple Jacks, those are my favorite. Carter: Fiber makes your tummy happy! RIGHT after finishing this sentence, he tooted and laughed). Carter also sings everything he hears. Lately he walks around singing, "Hit me baby one more time! I think it's in one of his movies. Here t...
