Monday, November 3, 2014. You might LIKE it! If you lived through the 70's as I did, you probably remember the little boy pictured above. He came to my mind as I started writing this entry. You see his name is Mikey. His brothers figured that they would get him to try this "NEW" cereal cause he hates everything. It turned out he liked it. The L. Ife cereal commercial became very popular in my early days, I remember it well. I can even recall the saying that made this little boy famous. I bet you do.

Saturday, October 5, 2013. A SAD DAY FOR THE SCRAPBOOK INDUSTRY. Tuesday, October 1, 2013. OK - where are my priorities? They have not been on the blog - you probably figured that one out without me even saying. The boss gave me a wake up call the other day when she asked how long it had been since I posted anything. There is no getting around it - the posts speak for themselves - a very, very long time. I didn't realize it had been so long and that two months shy of a year had passed.

Monday, July 4, 2011. You just never know what you will see when you look out at our hummingbird feeder. Some days there may be a little hummingbird, or maybe even two, chasing each other around and trying to claim the feeder as their own. Some days we have looked out and seen a downy woodpecker on the feeder. But never have we seen a red-headed woodpecker the size of this one on the feeder. We had lost our prior dog, Shadow, and I thought the time was right to get another one. Darla was born on November 09, 1998 and we got her on January 11, 1999.
