Ear Flap Owl Hat. 4th Aug, 2011 at 8:07 AM. I've never crocheted before. but my mum is in town and willing to impart her awesome skills and I've always wanted to learn. So, like everything I do, I didnt want to start off with something easy, like say a scarf. Nope, I made this absolutely adorable ear flap owl hat! D I am completely chuffed with myself. Some turned out well, others not so well. Olga was copied from a picture I found in one of Jayden's books. Misha the Giraffe. I made this using a pattern for a little lamb which I adapted until it looked like a giraffe. Little elephant with no name, also made from a pattern I adapted.
