Pete and Nina on tour! Thursday, 29 December 2016. Christmas @ Sanlucar de Barrameda. A short hop up to Sanlucar De Barrameda and we are soon settled in on Alphonso's fine site for the festive period. Same as last year but with chums Keith and Chris for good company. We secure a fine spot down one end of the site and get settled in for the duration. Next day we are off on the bus to nearby Sanlucar and a visit to the fish market for lunch. And don't you forget it! Just in case anyone needs a ferret?

Pete and Nina on tour! Monday, 28 November 2016. We leave Keith and Chris at the Delta and head off towards Valencia but first seeking out an Aire not used by us previously but promised much. Alas it was not to be as the heavens opened up and it rained heavily as we entered the hills near Ondo. Torrential rain followed and when we made the stopover it was clear there was no way we'd get out of the rapidly flooding site at the bottom of a rather steep access road next morning. Pete and Nina on tour! Thursday, 28 July 2016. Some peaceful lakeside stopovers are done en route to an RV with Britain. One of these is at Fontaine Francaise in the Cote d'Or dept of Burgundy. Beat this for idyllic. Mum and her children…. On a grey day we stroll around the small village and walk in the grounds of the old chateau. Nina fancied this as her personal des res, offering up a hidden fortune no doubt to renovate it to its former glory. The short cut to the chateau looks like body piercing stuff!

Pete and Nina on tour! Wednesday, 30 March 2016. Peniche, more drama and Cais do Bico. Our route up the West Coast sees us visiting a small new site at Odrinhas which turns out to be a little gem with electric and good services. In the little village there's a disproportionate amount of cafes and a very good restaurant, Rui Dos Pregos. Which we frequent both nights as the atmos is superb, friendly with the added bonus of full fat WiFi. Its from here that we Fozz it to nearby Mafra. We take in Ericeira.

Pete and Nina on tour! Tuesday, 31 May 2016. We move on down to the slighter cooler coast and arrive at a superb small site at El Rincón. The site is immaculate with a small shop and friendly owners and soon we are settled for what becomes a nine day stay under glorious blue skies. Pete and Nina on tour! Saturday, 21 January 2017. The next couple of weeks are spent firstly entering Portugal in the south east and traversing the country east to west in search of an elusive solar panel. This would have been our preferred entry point directly in the tiny hamlet of Pomarao. 50m from the border (and Pom) there's a bit of a landslide sealing the countries off from one another. We settle in right in front of Russ (Aka Nobby) and Lynne for the next week. Another fire, another roaring success.
