The straw was this hollow tube closed at both ends and filled with little pebbles of 'flavour', and when you suck the milk through the straw, the pebbles slowly dissolve into the milk, flavouring it. Lyn, aaron and i went there for dessert after a dinner of souvlaki - a greek wrap somewhat akin to kebabs. first time i'd heard of it! Aaron was in Melbourne visiting his sister for quite a long while, so we decided to just meet up before he flew back the next day. And i must say, Koko Black is amazing! And the best thing is that it's just round the corner from lyn's apartment. barely 2 minutes away! Such a strategic location. muahaha.

The last dinner in Australia was with Bianca and lyn at Kirribilli. this restaurant near Milson's Point and round the corner from the pizza place we ordered from the night before. Squid ink pasta, yummy! When she told us about it, lyn and i were like. what? But it was pretty good, sweet ice cream covered with a layer of biscuit crumble. Happy faces, one and all. Sunrise, Day 4. This is what greeted us when we woke up at 6 plus in the morning. Beautiful.

Saturday, October 13, 2007. Just got back from visiting the Cotswolds, which is this collection of small towns and villages that are uniquely preserved and very beautiful! For the past week, it has been great weather, so at any chance, we would take a train out or bus out to do a day trip to some nearby place.
