Creative Writing Guild: Prompts

These prompts are complied from everywhere, some tried and tested by CWG. Feel free to add your own prompts or your results to this list. Write a phone conversation you wish you could have. Write a scene or story from alternating points of view. Construct a plot from an overheard conversation. Describe a “first." Include as many details as possible, being sure to include an aspect relating to each of the five senses. Write a map to describe where you live. Write a text made up entirely of directions.

While digging for prompt, I came across these guys, and that is about the only description of them I can provide for you- that are in love with twenty consonant poetry. Don't know what that is? Monday, October 5, 2009. October 5th 2009, Do these pants make my butt look employable? Number of resumes submitted: 28. Number of interviews: 3. Bank balance: 926.07 (okay I gave in and bought myself a drink, or three). Number of Starbucks beverages purchased: 26. The veterinary clinic is in a little townhouse off the brown line that was very quaint and welcoming. Everyone there was really nice. All in all very hopeful. They also had the cutest little one eyed dog. Will find out today if I got the job.
