Thursday, January 22, 2009. Christmas morning was spent at Brandon and Michelle's and with Parker and Emily. They had us over for breakfast and to watch the kids open presents. It is so nice having some of our grand kids living close. Then we went back to our house and Brooke and Pat came over and opened presents. Brooke was her Daddy's little elf and did his shopping for him. But that was great because she sure picked out a very pretty Jewel box for me. Wow, it sounds like a busy, wonderful Christmas.

Sunday, December 28, 2008. We had a great time at Wendi's. December 5th, we are at Hanalei Bay on the North Shore. When we would hear Christmas carols it seemed so weird, we felt like it was July not December. We all came home with nice suntans with just a few days at the beach. Makel had lots of fun with Hailey and Alyssa and Abby, she loved playing in the sand and the ocean. I bought Alyssa a grass skirt with coconut shells. The Fern Grotto was up the Wialia River. John Shauna Tracen Aubrey Addison. Monday, December 29, 2008. Christmas at the Rothermich Cabin. After we finished opening gifts at our house we traveled out to the cabin. Grandpa John didn't realize that when he gave Aubrey a piece of ham that he would have a full time job on his hands the duration of our stay.
