Other Things We Do. In 2001 we were given a summer camp in the village of Taut, around 30km away from our main base in Siria. The site has been slowly renovated and now has accommodation for around 85 people and a 60 seater restaurant with wonderful terrace. The camp is in an amazing location in the Zarand mountain range beside a huge reservoir and is open during the season to tourists and organised camps of all kinds.
