The story so far. The haggling with the estate agent went on for months before we got a sale. In the last few rounds of haggling it seemed we were raising our offer by £100 at a time. The deal was done and we moved two miles from the other side of the village with two removal lorries. One with furniture etc, and the other with the contents of our old garden. From day one we new that we were not alone and we we were being watched. Rainbow over Romney Marsh. Seeding around on their own! Time to make hay.

The story so far. The house is in a local venacular and modest in taste. The floorboards are wobbly and we have Brown Bats in the attic. The important thing from a gardening perspective is that we have gardens on all four sides! As we found it with the lawn running up to the windows on the right. We decided to match up the borders under the windows and then we planted two standard hollys by the door. Built retaining wall and levelled the lawn. Pegging out the lawn for the new beds. The story so far. The top garden has three or four components - the Pergola built to match the existing larch pergola along the side of the front garden, the Gazebo (Gazbo as it is nicknamed) and the large mixed borders either side of it, the lawns enclosed by yew hedge. Bare bones - but level and ready to turf. Lawn laid and yew hedge - the turf did well , the yew hedge is a worry. Tea delivery from the boss. The long axis view through to the formal garden, through Ebay gate into the annexe garden.

September 27, 2013. Before Trench Runner there was Space Pirates. Space Pirates is Mega Man where you play as one of the bosses, choosing which one. Not a terribly new idea, but a fun one.
