A Sa Turritta sorta sulle antiche mura del borgo di Posada, sotto la storica torre che risale al XII secolo, si vive nel fascino del passato tra la magia dei vecchi tetti e degli antichi vicoli. Il bellissimo panorama che domina la piana, con uno stagno che ospita i fenicotteri rosa e gli aironi cinerini, il monte Albo e un'immensa spiaggia che delimita un mare verde che dista 700 m. dal borgo, suscitano profonde e piacevoli emozioni.

Grazie alla sua strategica posizione vicina al mare, il suo naturale approdo e poiché arroccata in cima ad una rupe calcarea dominante su tutta la vallata, fu abitata fin dal tempo nuragico. Nel territorio si possono visitare, anche con guide, il nuraghe Monte Idda e il nuraghe Pizzinnu.
