World Cuisine at your fingertips. Sep 4, 2011. 4 cups of lemon juice, fresh. 1 inch piece fresh ginger root, thinly sliced. 2 lemons, thinly sliced. Ice cubes as required. Take a saucepan, dissolve sugar with water. Bring to boil and let it simmer for 5 minutes. Now remove from heat. Stir in lemon juice. Leave it for 30 minutes to cool completely. Take ginger out of it. Now place in a freezer for 2 hours or until chilled. After 2 hours, pour into glasses. Garnish with lemon slices and serve immediately.
