Thursday, 7 February 2013. Chef Charlie Stocker @ 'The Loft'. At the ripe old age of 21 Charlie Stocker. Has been a quarter finalist on BBC's Masterchef 'The Professionals' as well as runner up for 'Essex Chef of the Year', amongst other accolades! He has a passion for foraging and local produce and has now just started to host some pOp Ups in the Essex area including our lovely 'Loft'. Friday, 28 October 2011. A little while ago, interior stylist Selina Lake. Author of gorgeous interior books Bazaar Style. Came to my home with photographer Debi Treloar. To take some pics for Selina's new book 'Homespun Style'. Was lovely to see Selina again (she came to my home in 2008), and to meet Debi Treloar. Whos photography I have admired in books such as Flea Market Style. Saturday, 22 October 2011. We had whats known as a 'Soft Launch' on Sunday 25th September, basically family and friends came!

Sunday, 28 August 2011. Design by Stuart Hammersley 'Give up Art'. Our lovely friend Tim, a local artist, has painted our sign! It will be going up on the front of the Loft over the next couple of days. Tim is a brilliant artist and has studio in the village that he shares with his also very talented wife Julie. Saturday, 21 January 2012. As mentioned in previous posts the fabulous butterworth and son. Blend their own unique flavours of loose leaf tea. At the moment at 'The Loft' our current guest tea is a special blend for the chilly season - aptly named 'Winter Tea'. It's a black china tea with orange peel, cloves, corflowers, hibiscus blossom, sunflowers and almond oil. It smells and tastes divine. See you soon maybe! Saturday, 7 January 2012.
