Friday, September 20, 2013. Kindplush now at Arte de Placitas! A few months ago, I was accepted into my local art gallery, and I'm proud to announce that my plushies are available in a physical store! Behold, Arte de Placitas. While I'm working on a better display, it's exciting enough for me to just know that they're there. I know it doesn't look like much right now, but just let me be happy about it, okay? I brought puppies, kitties, and a couple of little pixies! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

kindplush: Arctic Fox
http://www.kindplush.com/2013/03/arctic-fox.html
Monday, March 18, 2013. I'm experimenting with my new fox pattern. I used some of this great sweater material with fleece to make an arctic fox. The sweater fabric reacted a little differently, so he looks a little different from my red fox. But he's still just as charming! Although my red fox has sold, this little guy is patiently waiting in my Etsy store! He's so soft and needs lots of hugs. I have a craft show coming up in the beginning of April, so I am working on some new designs! I recently came in...

A breif history of. When I was a child, stuffed animals were always my favorite toys. Nothing else could compare. Everything with buttons, lights, bells and whistles were trumped every time by the sweet, simple gentleness of my stuffed animals. Plushies are an extension of the child, brought to life by their imagination. and there's just something really special about that. And I did. And I did it better. Most importantly, I discovered that life is more beautiful with items made by hand. I mostly use fle...

Meet my Janome New Home. In newer machines, a lot of the internal machinery is made from plastic. Why? Here are two examples of failed ...
