Of my 20 visits to Savandurga I've climbed Biligudda just 2 times but failed to reach the summit both times. These pictures must have been shot sometime 2003 or 2004. We were six of us- Rohin, Basu, Kiran, Kiran's friend, one dog and I. All pictures in this post were shot with a Yashica using Konica films. That's a gateway to the fort. Part of the fort wall.

Mostly we took the wrong path even though two local boys were trying to guide us through the ideal route. We were tired, thirsty and getting hungry .we decided to head back and go home. Tuesday, June 30, 2009. This was the Saturday Pink Floyd. Was performing in Bangalore. Kiran, one of Kiran's cousin and a friend of his cousin and of course I, reached well before sunset, gathered firewood and settled down in 'our' stone shelter. Saturday, December 6, 2008. This simple little five petal flower. I love the colors, white with light yellow and the fragrance is mild and refreshing, the shapely petals. .it cannot be called a delicate flower. It's found more during dry season. I used to pick these flowers and keep smelling them and would never get bored of it. Couple of times, I had brought them home and they stayed fresh for almost a week. How I Quit Smoking. August 2, 2010. 22 years since I ditched smoking. 40 years since I stepped into this world. 22 years since I smoked last. 18 years as a teetotaler. 10 years as a vegetarian. In those past years Gulveer my friend has also kicked smoking, drinking and meat. My efforts to inspire some more friends went in vain. I feel I may smoke and drink again after few more years.
