Friday, April 9, 2010. I Watched Children Play. Today on my lunch break I had planned to continue reading a book, The Last Song by Nicholas Sparks, lent to me by a patient's. How wonderful would it be to instantly forgive those who have hurt you. How much of a gift would it be to not fully understand loss and grief. But, I am no longer a child, and that veil of innocence is no longer present. I fully understand desperation, loss, hurt, anger, and ect. How can joy be understood without knowing sorrow?

Yes, I managed a Starbucks, and all the people who worked in it. The hardest part was that I am a people pleaser. So I always tried to accommodate.
