Savary has few utilities, you have to make your own. Cell phone service is patchy. Savary Cell Phone Tower. Internet, tether to cell phones, satellite and line of site options. TV Satellite Systems , still possible to get a couple of stations with an aerial. Water, Savary Shores has the Islands only Community Water System . Otherwise its wells ( mostly drilled ) , sandpoints are viable at Indian Point and Along Malasapina Promenade. Regular delivery ( year round by Brackenwood Propane ).

Savary is basically a sandbar about 5 mile tip to tip, that lies east west, it's not very far North to South ,. A glacial deposit, anchored at the East End by the rocky Mace Point. Lying in The Coastal Douglas Fir Zone. Arbutus, Cedar, Grand Fir Hemlock, Maple, White Pine, Douglas Fir and a few Garry Oak thrive here. These three factors can combine to produce warm, comfortable swimming waters. Bears, cougars, raccoon or rats. There are clams and oysters on the beaches. SAVARY ISLAND LAND TRUST.
