I was put onto this program because of an annoying popup (XP). Http:/ www.superantispyware.com. Superantispyware is a good program and remember to update it before scanning. A scan may take 45mins. Afterwards clean up the registry with this. Clean up pc and IE. It takes 2 hours or more so once it starts to scan (go to bed etc). Free firewall for pc?

The 2 scanning engines will fight each other to scan every file that you read, write or execute which can cause a slowdown. For the same reason, using 2 A-Vs can cause you to have less protection from the various malware, not more. Using an anti-spyware with an anti-virus is good, however and is recommended). You might consider choosing just one A-V and removing any others. Only use one antivirus.
