What You Can Do. Save Lake Sammamish (SLS) is a non-profit Washington corporation established to promote the water quality of Lake Sammamish and its watershed by fostering greater public awareness of the environmental and wildlife concerns relating to Lake Sammamish and its watershed and any potential development thereon. Community awareness is promoted through publication of a newsletter to over 3000 homes in the Puget Sound area. Legal action is taken to prevent actions detrimental to Lake Sammamish.

Update - August 11th, 2014. On August 11th 2014, Sobey's purchased the proposed gas station property from the developer. With the change of ownership, the Fall River Vision Planning bylaws are now in force. No gas station can be built on this property. This has been a hard fight, and we thank members of the community for the overwhelming support. We also thank Sobey's for finaly realizing their responsibility for environmental stewardship. In light of these changes, we recommend that the Boycott end.
