Save Our Oaks - Stop Trimming!
Live oak trees, power lines, trimming, growth retardant and underground installations. Our oak trees are one of our most prized assets. The Georgia Power Company will consider placing power underground instead of through oak trees. The problem is that reduced shock from trimming is not the same as eliminating the shock every third year and the visual appearance of the trimmed trees continues to be distressing. If the trimming is stopped the limbs will fill in the areas where power lines once were run.
