What is save our sight? More than 70,000 New Zealanders aged 40 years and older have glaucoma. At least half do not know they have it. Untreated, glaucoma will cause loss of sight. But it can be treated…. and blindness can be avoided. According to the World Health Organisation 75% of blindness in the world could have been prevented.
