Monday, April 14, 2008. Teaching with the Internet, Ch 10. This chapter starts off with Cheryl’s class working on units that deal with other cultures. The reason for these units is to increase multicultural understanding and build a classroom community. I was very impressed with the units that were being taught. I feel that this gives the students a better understanding. Of what to expect from other cultures. Honestly, this makes them more aware of how different cultures are in the world.
