The Alleman Family: January 2014
http://laurasledger.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 2, 2014. That void between Thanksgiving and Christmas. So you know those three weeks between Thanksgiving break and Christmas break? Speaking of the Elf, here is Alexa making her debut this year and two very happy little girls. (I think that those smiles is part of the reason we do it). Kirsten also decided that she wanted to make a blanket for her sister for Christmas and sewed it all by herself. Grandma Alleman came to watch her along with Jeremy and me. I painted a popcorn bowl.

Monday, May 25, 2015. May 19, 2015. My beautiful Katie Anne graduated from preschool! It is hard to believe how quickly the past 5 years have passed. She has grown so much during her past two years and Redeemer Day School and we will always be grateful for her time there. Each of the graduates recited their favorite bible verse that they had memorized throughout the year. The Alleman Family: Star Performances
http://laurasledger.blogspot.com/2013/12/star-performances.html
Thursday, December 12, 2013. Each year, every grade level at Kirsten's school does a musical performance. This year the 3rd graders did a patriotic show. Among other things, they memorized the pre-amble to the constitution, all 50 states in alphabetical order and sang You're a Grand Old Flag. We were pretty impressed to say the least. We took time after to pose for pictures. Grandma and Grandpa Lowe made it to cheer her on,. As did Grandma Alleman. She is on the left in the green shirt. Saving for a Dream.

Friday, November 1, 2013. Beginning of 3rd Grade and Preschool. Kirsten started third grade this year. I can hardly believe how grown up and beautiful she is - inside and out. She was so thrilled to meet her teacher and start this new year. As soon as we walked in the door we ran into Azalea. They are so sad to not be in the same class this year, but spend as much time together as they can! Kirsten in front of her new classroom. It was really fun and we will definitely have to go back. We also spent some...

Tuesday, August 20, 2013. By the time the day came, I had a 4 page scripted, two hour birthday party planned. The invitations were Hogwarts letters. We awaited the owls for RSVP before the big day! We also had a ton of help from my dad and Patty in executing the plan. Presenting Professor Dumbledore and Professor McGonagall, posing here with their favorite student, Hermoine. I was the Minister of Magic, Jeremy was Professor Snape, Katie was Ginny Weasley and Gingy was Hedwig. Watch out for that bluddger!

Monday, May 20, 2013. California Trip Day 7 - Friday. I decided to finally finish up our trip posts. Friday was our final day of the trip. We slept in a little because we were all exhausted from our amazing day at the beach. We spent the morning helping my Aunt Verlanne bake cookies. They were leaving for Hawaii that day too and so she made them for us both to take on the plane. Then we packed up, headed to the airport and came home. We made it home about 1 am.
