Friday, August 24, 2012. I'm a bookworm and love to read, although it is hard to get a read in edgewise these days. Recently, two friends got me started on the Redemption series by Karen Kingsbury with Gary Smalley. They are fantastic. I happen to know a few authors and can't wait to read Becky Wade's book My Stubborn Heart! Good literature can be a powerful tool in educating and forming moral values. Thursday, August 12, 2010. Today is the day! Dive toys are a great incentive! Until this year, our family has not been around pools during the summer that much so I had not ventured into swimming lessons. I don't agree or follow everything the AAP recommends, but the Academy's recommendation about no swimming lessons until age 4 was a convenient guideline for me to follow and easier on the checkbook.
