Monday, June 29, 2009. 27 June 2009 - our sweet little granddaughter Aubrei is now 3 years old! We celebrated her birthday at the Lions Park with cake and ice cream and lots of presents. She had a lot of family here to help her celebrate since her Grandma Leslie had a BIG 50th birthday celebration the night before at the. Parker was such a great big brother to help her open her gifts and was so patient to let her take all the wrapping paper off herself. She's a little bit of sunshine. Another Six Year Old.

Tuesday, August 4, 2009. Last week we got great news from two of our family members who have been battling cancer. Sindy (Ashley's mom) went to her oncologist last week to have a post-op check and was declared to be cancer free! She does not have to go through any chemo or radiation, but they will be keeping a close eye on her with follow up checks. We are so grateful and happy that she dodged such a huge bullet!
