A little bit of southern living…. July 22, 2012. 4 cups of water. 1 cup stone-ground grits. 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese. 1 pound of peeled, deveined, uncooked shrimp. 6 slices of bacon. 4 tsp lemon juice. 2 T chopped parlsey. 1 cup thinly sliced scallions. 1 large garlic clove, minced. Bring water to a boil. Add salt and peper. Add grits and cook until water is absorbed (20-25 minutes). Removed from heat and stir in butter and cheese. Rinse and pat dry shrimp. In grease, add shrimp.

A little bit of southern living…. July 22, 2012. Baguette (they are $1.60 at Walmart right now). Jar of pizza sauce. Pepperonis/ Green Peppers/ Onions/ Whatever you like on your pizza. Preheat your oven to 350 F. Slice the baguette (I like mine thin crusted.). Spoon the marinara sauce on top of each piece of bread. Sprinkle with cheese (I am usually very generous on this step.).
