The work we do. Saturday, 19 June 2010 16:06. Comprises two firing procedures. To begin with, pots are thrown on the potters wheel and left on the shelves to dry for a day or two, depending on the temperature of the day. Once they reach the stage which is called leatherhard , they are brought back to the wheel and turned again to perfect the outline and give the pots their final elegance. After attaching the handles, the pots are then cleaned with a sea sponge and put on the shelves to dry.
