Babies need lotsa sleep, it's vital for their development both physcially and mentally. Many parents have the misconception that if babies sleep alot in the day time, they will not sleep at nite. Well, this is not true, as the baby usually becomes overtired. Young babies and children need at least 10 hours. With naps in the day depending on the age and needs.
