Micah, Lucy, Luke and Titus. We're down here in Texas and we just thought we would just try to keep everyone plugged in. Friday, December 12, 2008. The elf working on this project can stop! I'm so glad to announce that Luke does not want a green Lightning McQueen from Santa. He wants a Bling. Lightning McQueen. Hallelujah. Lightning McQueen exists. Whew! The elf in charge of Christmas Gordon still needs to get on the ball. Get out the glue gun and the tinsel. Wednesday, December 10, 2008. The green light...

Sooner in the Heart of Texas: Over 25 Weeks
http://jillkerby.blogspot.com/2010/07/over-25-weeks.html
Sooner in the Heart of Texas. Wednesday, July 14, 2010. I have really enjoyed being out of school for the past 5 weeks! Unfortunately, I've spent quite a bit of that time in professional development classes, but it's not nearly as bad as grading papers and getting up so early! She had told me that she had a pooch, but I certainly didn't see it. We took a picture to remember the occasion.she was 16 weeks and I was 23. I can't wait to find out if she's having a boy or a girl! We should know next Monday.

At lunch, my mom gave me a very sweet Mom-to-Be card and a little gift she picked up in CA last week.some Pepperdine socks for the baby (see pic below). I love them! Still, I will consider next year my first Mother's Day. I even have started getting more energy. I have always wondered what that would feel like. I will keep you all posted. Only 4 more weeks till I know if I'm having a boy or a girl! Me at 15 weeks. My Mini Emergency Kit from Katy.

Texas Hahns: Visit from Mr. Caleb
http://texashahns.blogspot.com/2009/03/visit-from-mr-caleb.html
Micah, Lucy, Luke and Titus. We're down here in Texas and we just thought we would just try to keep everyone plugged in. Saturday, March 14, 2009. Visit from Mr. Caleb. My cousin Caleb came through Dallas this week looking at grad. schools. It was great to see him and visit. The boys love having a visitor. Caleb was such a good sport to play trains with Luke. Luke has all these rules about which trains can touch etc. Sitting down with him is not for the faint of heart! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Sooner in the Heart of Texas: September 2009
http://jillkerby.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Sooner in the Heart of Texas. Friday, September 18, 2009. So, there were several blog posts that I wanted to write, but now that so much time has passed, I feel it's time to move on. As of today, I have been back at school for 4 weeks and it already feels like summer was a lifetime ago! Please keep him in your prayers for this. He would be making about the same amount of money (because he currently gets some overtime pay), but it would be a step in the right direction for his career. Last year the groups...

Sooner in the Heart of Texas. Friday, October 15, 2010. Thursday, October 07, 2010. Just about 38 weeks. The past few weeks have been extremely stressful and busy at work and I just keep thinking it could be any day now. While part of that sounds good, I am in no way prepared for someone else to take over my class! Just what I needed.another curveball (and another boy! Also, I found out Monday that the woman who was going to be my long-term sub could no longer do it! Since I'm not having any other sympto...

http://jillkerby.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Sooner in the Heart of Texas. Friday, September 17, 2010. WowI'm a bit frustrated that I haven't recorded my thoughts in the past 6 weeks, but then again that's what happens when school starts. It's like I'm two different people.there's "Summer Jill" and then there's "School Jill." Kind of like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde :). My life has beene extremely busy lately, but it has all been good! On August 15, my dear friends at Greenville Oaks threw me an incredible shower for Jacob! My friend, Carrie, came down...

Sooner in the Heart of Texas: Week 29
http://jillkerby.blogspot.com/2010/08/week-29.html
Sooner in the Heart of Texas. Sunday, August 08, 2010. Instead of his usual movements and kicks, it now seems that he enjoys kicking off the top of my uterus, which then pushes his head down low against my pelvic bone. I do not find this fun! On Saturday, Tim and I got up early to attend a three and a half hour class on breastfeeding.just what Tim wanted to do bright and early on a Saturday :)! On Wednesday of this week, Karin, Val, and Ian are coming to visit. We can't wait to see them! Me on July 31, 2...
