I am a creator, and art lover. I am an artist, and fan of abstract art. I am also a lover of everything that surrounds us - nature, architecture and hidden treasures. I grew up in Casper, Wyoming and have gradually made my way to the west coast. All of it spent in relatively small communities. I am a wife, mother of two incredible young adults and a fabric artist. I enjoy creating my pieces from beginning to end. Each step is an adventure which sometimes can lead to the unexpected.

My Sweater Coats are made from re-purposed sweaters. I only use high quality natural fiber sweaters. Many are wool and cotton combined. Your new Sayler Made garment should be machine or hand washed in cold water and dried flat. The sweaters were all machine washed and dried before they were constructed but I feel to be safe you should hand wash them. It is common for wool sweaters to shrink if handled improperly, please take extra care and avoid use in a washer and dryer. My work is available at:.

Saturday, February 25, 2012. Here are somemore photos from my trip. Every morning I got up and went for a walk on the beach. We were lucky enough to have summer in February so it was too nice not to get out there and enjoy. The patterns in the sand were amazing and the long flat stretch of sand was so nice for walking. Thursday, September 29, 2011. It was a very fun project and I am happy with the result. I did Needle turn applique and hand quilted this piece. I also tried something new and made a facing like binding. I did not want the piece to have a traditional binding but it needed a clean finished edge. I am excited for next week when we will share our creations with the group and I will get the next batch of fabric which will be "air". Wednesday, September 28, 2011. Oregon to Colorado and back. Sunday, February 26, 2012. The second Teeny weeny. A month ago I finished my second Teeny Weeny. Pictured here is the first and second. Earth and wind. The earth piece was done with hand quilting and needle turn appliqué. I tried using fused pieces in by wind piece. I am currently working on my fire piece. Sunday, July 24, 2011. This is our chief tour guide, our son Rick. He did a great job. It was fun to have this time with him! This is the view of Stockholm from the Tower in City Hall. It was a long climb up stairs which the stairwell got smaller and smaller but the view of the City was incredible. This was our Home away from Home. Sunday, February 19, 2012. Things are moving right along on my colorful quilt! I am having a good time working on this one but the progress is slow! Looking at this now as a photo I would have made a few color changes but I am not going to go backwoods, I will live with my choices. The world away from my quilting has been keeping me busy. I have been working a bit more than I am used to I know many of you work full time and don't feel a bit sorry for me but I am spoiled! Enjoy your weekend everyone!
