Tales of a Southern Doll. The ongoing comedy of a Southern girl trying to figure it all out. 26 February, 2008. Naivety, at times. I am also naive when it comes to relationships at times. More specifically, I think I have a lot to learn about marriage before I actually get married. In my mind, once you get married, that is it. There is no flirting with other people, there is no "just a kiss" and there is no way you can allow yourself to feel romantic emotions about anyone else. Is the Starter Marriage.

Friday, March 28, 2008. The cat I met today. What an odd last couple of days. I topped it off by attending a senior citizen dance tonight that we sponsered, but that's a whole nother posting. And it doesn't stop yet. Today I took a baby's urn back to an 18 year old mom who lied about the dad. Gave me some guy's name who swore to me he didn't know her so how could he be a dead baby's father. Ends up that mom's step-dad is baby's father. How can people like that exist? It makes me so darn mad.

Wednesday, January 20, 2010. In December, an envelope came in the mail. My husband made a big deal of it, which of course, I liked. He video taped me opening it, gave a little announcement. Ta-da! Woot-woot. lol. One more thing to cross off my to-do list before I die. Next up, Bachelor's. It, however, will need to wait for me to go back to work and replenish some savings. Here's a tip - don't spend the money on a camera that is touted as waterproof. My teenager took her video camera, put it in a Ziploc bag and got clear footage underwater. Try it.
