SAYS JANICE
June 14, 2013. Take a minute… or three. This is worth the read. You should date a girl who reads. Date a girl who reads. Date a girl who spends her money on books instead of clothes, who has problems with closet space because she has too many books. Date a girl who has a list of books she wants to read, who has had a library card since she was twelve. That’s the reader. They can never resist smelling the pages, especially when they are yellow and worn. Buy her another cup of coffee. Lie to her. If sh...

When to Get Out of Bed. 30 July, 2015. Every morning, really. I mean, I know that should be a given, but sometimes I need to be reminded, and maybe you do too. Of course, we now have. Puppies, so aside from Alan leaving before the sun has deigned to make an appearance, my mornings consist of me either shouting for peace every five seconds (not very peaceful, nor conducive to sleep), or simply biting the bullet and getting up as soon as my eyes open. Hewell Happenings
Complete and up to date account of the Hewell family. Wednesday, March 18, 2009. It's Starting to Come Together. The new marble shower. New paint and light fixture. We still are waiting on the floor to be installed, trim to be painted and reinstalled and then, I think we are pretty much done. We are waiting on hanging the mirror. Trying to decide if we want a different one or the same one we have. It really is going to be pretty (in my opinion) when it gets done. More pictures to follow. The shower befor...
Says Julia
Julia is our four-year-old daughter. She never fails to delight and amuse us with her innovative and often remarkably astute observatations, questions, and declarations about the world. Wednesday, 11 July 2012. Julia: You know mum, we have a chicken issue in Hampstead. What kind of an issue. Julia: Well there are chickens everywhere, and they hop over fences and just make their nests wherever they like. Posted by letters from london. Labels: 4 years 7 months. She happens to be right on the last). Julia a...
