It's my blog. Read it. Thursday, August 31, 2006. The rare SF sun. In a shocking turn of events, San Francisco is warm and sunny today. Okay well, it’s sunny. Warm is perhaps too strong a word. But I realized as I panted up and down the steep streets around Buena Vista park: it’s a good thing that New York has the heat and San Fran has the hills; if one city had both, people would keel over and die on a regular basis. They stand in the doorway for way too long, trying to wrap their thick heads around the seemingly simple concept of exact change.
