In the beginning, I built kits regardless of scale, but in the early '60s I chose 1/72 scale for my hobby, although I build armour and cars in larger scales. As the years went by, I got more and more interested in the history of WW II aviation and particularly wartime exploits of airmen. Many of my models depict specific pilots' planes.
