Lori Anne Boocks: Abstract Paintings, Interviews, and More: New Series: Amulets
http://laboocks.blogspot.com/2014/02/new-series-amulets.html
Lori Anne Boocks / Abstract Artist. Lately I've been interested in old decaying objects that have been cast off. I want to give them new life. They've been through a lot- discarded, exposed to the elements, forgotten. They've survived, been found, and given a new purpose. I want to revere them as symbols of strength. These new pieces are 6 x 6 inches on wood panel with acrylic and charcoal. Amulet No. 1 (for courage). Amulet No. 2 (for luck). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.
