As the Scala1600 process is purely digital, any digital compact or DSLR camera will do as camera. However, I like the approach of working a little bit like in. Old times. For this reason, I dedicated one of my cameras to be my bw-only. It s a Canon DSLR with a sensor crop factor of 1,6. I am using a 20mm prime lens with it, which gives me a 35mm street photography and reportage camera. The lens is mainly used in manual focus mode with yellow or red filters to enhance image contrast.
