http://modelloursworkshop.blogspot.com/2014/07/battle-of-bulge-diorama-by-paul-keefe.html
Tuesday, July 1, 2014. Battle of the Bulge Diorama by Paul Keefe. It's time for me to make some more videos for our Diorama of the Day series and the first video is ready. I have worked all night to get the video done because once I got started, I couldn't stop until it was completed. I guess a lot of model builders know that feeling. Just having to complete those damn tracks before you can go to bed. If you are hungry for more and want to see pictures of this stunning diorama, just click here. By Franci...

I used Dragon´s Zimmerit Panther G (Kit NO.6384), the figures are made out of several left over bits i found in my storage. The rails are from Trumpeter. I painted the model with acrylic paints from Revell. MIG pigments and oil paints were used for weathering. Posted by Michael Rieß. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

MODELLOURS WORKSHOP: "Battle of Mylae" 260 B.C. in 1/72 scale
http://modelloursworkshop.blogspot.com/2012/04/battle-of-mylae-260-bc-in-172-scale.html
Wednesday, April 18, 2012. Battle of Mylae" 260 B.C. in 1/72 scale. I have depicted a fight between a Carthaginian and a Roman trireme at the Battle of Mylae in 260 BC, in this diorama. Roman soldiers are storming across their boarding bridge (lat. corvus, engl. raven) for a direct assault on the enemy ship. The Battle of Mylae took place in the First Punic War, it ended with a Roman victory. I used two Trireme kits and several packages of figures from Zvezda for this big project. Posted by Michael Rieß.

Thursday, March 26, 2009. Here are some pics of Bronco´s Humber Scout Car which I finished last year. Labels: Humber Scout Car. Current project: Sandbagged Sherman. This is something I started about 4 years ago and I haven´t touched it in 3 years. I used a Tamiya hull and the racks with sandbags were made using Miliput and Evergreen plastic strips. At the beginning of this year I restarted this project. Some details were added to the hull and I made racks with sandbags on a Italeri 76mm turret. With this...

Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). With this blog I would like to share my favorite pasttime, which is building models of military vehicles. My interest mainly lies with vehicles used by the U.S. army in world war II (especially the MTO and ETO). Jason Whitman's Historical Miniatures. Műanyag - Tégla - Törmelék.

Monday, February 1, 2010. This is the DML kit from the 90's, I'm using a list of tweaks from Tim Streeters. Very useful web site to make some corrections and bring the kit to a somewhat higher level of detail. Besides the DML kit, I used Formations tools and early .50 MG, the towcable and the .30 barels are from Karaya. Labels: DML M4A1 75mm. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
