Specialised Scania Tuning for the Australian Market. Since February 2013 we have closely monitored a Scania R620, for Performance, economy and overall driveability. Data was collected and reports generated every day, recording the weather conditions, trip distance and motorway usage in comparison to urban usage. In March after the vehicle was tuned, we then fitted a Steinbauer module to the 620 which increased the maxuimum horsepower to 734 bhp. There has been no temperature increase with the vehicle.

Specialised Scania Tuning for the Australian Market. The Diagram above shows a typical installation on a Scania R500. As you can see the whole unit is plug and play. All you have to do is remove the ecu covers and unplug three of the connectors on the ecu. All the plugs are numbered and you then plug in three connectors from the high quality steinbauer loom. The original ecu connectors then plug into the female connectors on the steinbauer loom, ensuring that the pin numbers match as shown above.
