Schools have been out all week, so I have had quite the vacation. I was only actually "stuck" Sunday and Wednesday, so I got to the gym 3 times, hooray! So I set up this blog almost two months ago, but am only just now getting around to updating the pages and broadcasting the link. My Wine Project in. Goals and Races in. Something about the Easter season and spring in general makes me feel hopeful. No, it's not summer yet, but the sun's out longer and later, kids are playing baseball, flowers are popping up.the promise of summer is there.

Here's what I made:. 1 cup sliced onions. 2 cups sliced multicolor bell peppers. 2 T olive oil. 2 garlic clove, minced. 2 tsp ground cumin. 8 oz precooked frozen shrimp, thawed. 6 t chopped fresh cilantro. 2 lime, juiced. May 6, 2010. But we are moving on. The American Red Cross has asked me if I would take a new assignment….at a US Air Force base in England for 3 years. We said yes! Abi and I will be moving to RAF Mildenhall, England this July. My job title and most of my responsibilities will be very similar to what I am doing now. I’ve been taking care of all the medical/legal stuff for Andy and he’s been busy getting my no-fee passport, figuring out what we need for visas and (hopefully) getting appointments to figure out our travel arrangements. June 20, 2008. Last weekend my maid of honor and bridemaids threw me an amazing bridal. My mom, sisters, and friends helped out a lot too from what I understand. It was weird for me to not to help out or know anything about it – I’m usually the party planner in my group of friends. They had a great spread of homemade food – my friends Becki and Erin love to cook! My sister, Katie, my mom, my cousin Kendyle, and my sister Emily. My cousin Elva (in the back), my grandmother, and my aunt. Only 74 more days!

April 23, 2010. This week we are thankful:. That God is in control. That Andy is doing well at his job and is establishing a good working relationship with his new boss. That Andy has been doing a lot lately and having very little pain (he even was able to stand for a few hours at an army ceremony without any problems).
