The family train has continued rolling along, and this week brought jake's mom and dad to visit and meet Grace. we did a lot of baby-gazing, but also got out to the farmer's market (where oliver and john discovered their shared love for popcorn! Monday, July 25, 2011. Our yearly trip to the shores of Lake Michigan happened mid-July. What a wonderful time! Grace was a trooper camping, Oliver had the time of his life with his cousins, Jake and I relaxed and soaked up his lovely family. A precious time for us in many ways. Monday, June 25, 2012. Jake fixed up the playground- added a roof and a sandbox. Outside the greenhouse just before the plant sale in late May. Enjoying new fresh sand. Planting basil and lettuce. Dont' know why this pic doesn't turn! But it's ollie's latest WI tee. Ollie did a kiddie triathalon in early june. Showing his number to the guy. Can i get another noodle please? And off he went! Changing for the bike ride down the road and back. Sleeping in the tent in the yard. Keeping cool with ice cream.

Saturday, April 14, 2012. Happy 1st birthday to my sweet warrior daughter Grace Eliza. Every day is much more interesting, a richer adventure, because of you! You bring us so much joy and laughter as we watch you grow up. We are so glad you're here. We love love love you! Getting checked out by the midwives, shortly after being born, with Ollie at the ready to help. Love the toe-eating stage! These two love each other! Can't wait to see what's next! Here's to many more happy times together, darling.
