TheYarnTart: April 2006
http://theyarntart.blogspot.com/2006_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 24, 2006. One UFO down, a few more to go . . . I'm so excited to have this blanket done. It started out to be a baby blanket, but I've renamed it the "Mommy and Me" blanket because of it's size. I hope to deliver it to the intended recipient this week! It ended up being about 55 x 60 inches. I hope never to use that yarn again. It's beautiful and soft but a real pain to work with. Posted by Shelly @ 10:17 PM. Wednesday, April 19, 2006. http://knittyprof.blogspot.com/2007/06/penelope-full-speed-ahead.html
Tales of Knitting, Bead Work, and Stash Busting, and Great Books. Sunday, June 10, 2007. Penelope Full Speed Ahead. I am happily knitting away on Penelope by Oat Couture. After about 6 false starts and lots of time spent int he Frog Pond, I am finally "doing it." I am very excited with this blouse. I never really did much at all with lace knitting, so I have learned some things by being tenacious and refusing to give up on it. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Western, PA, United States.

Sunday, July 30, 2006. Sad news silent needles. Among the f/o's is a dish/washcloth I've been fiddling with for a couple weeks or more, trying to get the pattern just perfect. Now that it's done I'm wondering why my brain had such a difficult time trying to figure it out. The next f/0's are these hats which will be donated to "Save the. Today I haven't picked up my needles at all. I've just felt kind of funky and out of sorts. But I'll be back at it soon. Posted by Shelly @ 10:16 PM. Friday, July 28, 2006.

TheYarnTart: September 2005
http://theyarntart.blogspot.com/2005_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 20, 2005. Note: Read to the bottom or you'll miss the most important part of this post. Over the past nearly three weeks I've been like a mother hen watching the growth of the bud, worrying that my cat would play with this new and tempting start and knock it off. I'd also been told not to change the plant's environment or it might drop the bud. One more thing to worry about! This is the bud as I first noticed it. Posted by Shelly @ 10:53 AM. Wednesday, June 14, 2006. How Good Does That Feel? My mother always said I was stubborn, but she never told me that my stubbornness would pay off with the rich rewards of having such a feeling of accomplishment. (Jumping up and down). Would someone out there in cyberland please remind me that as a night time knitter I should never again knit an all navy blue sweater. (Sorry Tiff, I promise I'll finish it, but next time I'll choose a lighter color). Posted by Shelly @ 10:49 PM. Tuesday, June 13, 2006.
